LA PLACE DU CHAMPTEL

Champtel place.Champtel means linden field. Public square in the village center of La Bresse. A linden tree once housed a stone bench where law was spoken. The granite fountain was created in honor of Joseph Remy, who invented the artificial reproduction of trout in the 19th century.
