Description of the tour :A charming walk in the forest is starting. Walk in the direction of the city hall and turn right. At the close junction, go straight in Rue du Quairon. At the multiple junctions, keep following the markings “Chalet Boucher”. You will discover this place where you can shelter. This house belongs to the forest’s owners. Leave this place by the right side of the house, by a pathway that goes up, known as Chemin de la Pierre du Soulier. On the plateau, you will cross a lovely forest of beech trees. You will arrive at the Cross of Bourcier. Keep walking. Information signs indicate the source of the Durbion river (20 minutes for the round trip if you want).
Immediately turn right, then continue straight to the junction where a pathway on the right will lead you to Fontenay. Stay focus, at the picnic table, turn left on Chemin des Censeaux. You will see some old quarries and, at the edge, a headstone in the memory of a quarryman who died at work. You come back in town with the bell tower as a guide. In town, go down the Rue des Senseaux, walk close to the church and soon, you will see the city hall and your starting point.
