To get to the GR® de Pays du Tour de la Vologne, a connection via the GR®5F is offered from the town of Épinal to easily reach the route.
A summary of the Vosges on a single route!
Starting in the Cité des Images in Épinal, this 148-kilometre adventure offers a journey from the Vosges foothills to the ridge trails, passing through a variety of fascinating landscapes. The route follows the Vologne valley, from the confluence of the river with the Moselle to its source at Hohneck, the third highest peak in the Vosges Mountains. There is no shortage of natural curiosities (geological, botanical, etc.) along the way, and the panoramas offered by the high moors reward the efforts after a somewhat sporty climb from the valley of the lakes to the peaks. Finally, you will follow the Vologne again to find your way back to your starting point, full of beautiful memories in your head.

Taking an average of 9 to 10 days, the GR® de Pays du Tour de la Vologne route can be adapted into shorter formats depending on the length and difficulty of the desired stages. To complete a shorter loop, a local connection is offered on the GRP®, from Bruyères to Beauménil, passing through Champ-le-Duc and following the red triangle.
A variety of accommodation is ready to welcome hikers along or near the route: guest houses, hotels, inns, lodges and furnished accommodation, refuges, holiday centres, campsites and even unusual accommodation. There's something for everyone to discover the area along the way!
