Discover a typical panorama of the Vosges Valleys from the Roches de Fouchon.
To reach the start by car. Exit Bruyères towards Saint-Dié. In Brouvelieures, park on the square near the church.
From the square, take Rue du Feigneux which is in front of you when you turn your back on the bakery. It goes straight ahead. At a fork, take a dirt road to the left. As you follow it, you will see all the buildings that constitute the catchments for the springs of the commune. At the Cora reservoir, turn into a hairpin to follow a flat path. You will see many impressive anthills and a few openings onto the villages of Belmont and Domfaing. Do not take the path going up to the right.
A small steep slope, a short descent and a house appears, the "Ferme des Anges". Turn right into the climb. (Halfway down, you can go to the Roche de Fouchon). Towards the end of the steep slope, a beautiful view of Bruyères, the Avison, the castle, Buemont, rewards you. On your right, an old quarry: its materials were used to maintain forest paths. Here you are at
again on a flat path, at the top, always look for the green ring that marks your route, many tracks or bad paths could lead you astray. After a little over a kilometer, you see on your left, a view of the Mortagne valley and Rambervillers. At 100m, it is the descent to the right. Stop before to enjoy the view of Brouvelieures, Domfaing, Belmont. At the bottom, at the crossroads, turn right and immediately, the houses of Brouvelieures appear. The bell tower serves as a guide to return to the parking lot.
