REAL soap is a combination of VEGETABLE fats mixed with a strong alkaline agent (soda for solid soap, potash for liquid soap). It is a simple hydrolysis of fatty substances with a base. At low temperature, the reaction, called saponification, produces soap and glycerin.
At Expression Savon, each recipe is a different formulation.

Visit to the manufacturing workshop co-organized by the Bruyères Vallons des Vosges Tourist Office during each school holiday period and all year round for groups.
