From May 7th to 9th, 2026, Bruyères changes its rhythm and invites you to live a unique cultural experience with the Zic & Plum Festival.
Formerly known as the Spring of Words, this event has been revamped and now happily blends music, live performance and creativity in a friendly atmosphere accessible to all.

✨ An artistic immersion for all ages
For 3 days, the festival transforms the city into a veritable open-air stage.
Between the marquee, the function room and the outdoor spaces, every corner becomes a place of discovery.
You’ll find here:
- 🎶 concerts (rock, pop, song, folk);
- 🎭 theatre, circus and improvisation;
- 📚 poetry readings and performances;
- 🎪 Puppets and shows for young audiences;
With affordable proposals from a very young age (sometimes as early as 6 months!)everyone finds their own moment of magic there.
🎤 Highlights not to be missed
Thursday: festive opening and wacky show
From the very first evening, music and good cheer will take center stage with concerts and food available on site.
The highlight of the evening: a show as original as it was unexpected, a burlesque reinterpretation of Tristan and Yseult… in a laundry room, with washing machines in action!
As an added bonus, you can enjoy a gourmet platter while watching the show, so don't hesitate to book!
Friday: local creativity and a warm atmosphere
The stage is open to local talent with:
- writing and theatre workshops
- musical readings full of poetry
- an energetic pop concert in the evening
All in a user-friendly format with Free entry and pay-what-you-want shows.
Saturday: a vibrant and festive day
Saturday is the beating heart of the festival:
- continuous shows
- street theatre and street performances
- puppets, circus and improvisation
- concerts and entertainment
Memorable moments for young and old alike, such as:
- an improvisation cabaret full of surprises
- a poetic show about the Moon
- original creations blending music, painting and storytelling
And to keep the party going: aperitif-concert and festive evening !
👨👩👧👦 A festival rooted in its territory
The Zic & Plum Festival is also a wonderful collective adventure.
Upstream, Students, middle schoolers and local residents participate in art workshops, the results of which are presented during the event.
The result: a vibrant, participatory, and deeply local festival.
